Mark W. Mattei spent more than 25 years in military leadership and cyber operations — including the National Security Agency and US Central Command — before moving into the managed security services industry, where he built programs protecting critical infrastructure OT/ICS/IT environments. Managed Security Buyers Guide News is written from that vantage point: skeptical of vendor marketing, focused on what actually protects an environment, and aimed squarely at the people who have to make the buying decision.
Mark also runs an independent cybersecurity advisory practice, Baldwin Terney Consulting, for organizations navigating these same MSSP, MDR, and OT decisions directly.
